Chery recently released its sales report: In May, Chery Group sold 205,732 vehicles, representing a 9.1% year-on-year growth. Notably, 63,169 new energy vehicles (NEVs) were sold, surging 47.7% compared to the same period last year, while exports reached 100,737 units, a 7.7% increase. From January to May, Chery Group achieved cumulative sales of 1,026,517 vehicles, growing 14% year-on-year and hitting the one-million-unit milestone faster than ever before. During this period, NEV sales totaled 287,798 units, more than doubling with 111.5% growth. With 443,940 vehicles exported, Chery maintains its position as China's leading automotive exporter.
